An intensive two day weekend colour course. This is a practical, ‘hands on’ workshop, the aim of which is to increase your understanding of basic colour theory and colour relationships, colour mixing and the effect of one colour upon another. A short lecture at the beginning covers colour terminology and examples of colour phenomena are explained. The rest of the course is practical during which you will be painting colour wheels and colour charts. Completing this course will enable you to mix the colours that you wish to mix without frustration and wasting paint. Your colour vocabulary will increase enormously, as will your understanding and awareness of colour. You will be able to appreciate, respond to and use colour not only with more confidence but with a sense of freedom and joy. As much information as possible will be made available to encourage further individual research.
